The capability of CalorIQue’s THERMAL SHIELD warmer to maintain a 55 gallon drum of liquid at up to a 50°F differential temperature (Delta T) has been field proven in more than 15 years of northern winters. THERMAL SHIELD uses only a fraction of the energy consumed by other conventional methods.

The THERMAL SHIELD warmer is specifically designed and engineered to make the most efficient use of every watt of energy available. In fact, the 1-inch fiberglass insulation and outer vinyl jacket reflect the heat inward. Almost no heat is dissipated into the atmosphere, as with other methods.

A total of 10 square feet of the drum’s surface is actively heated-compared to just 2 square feet on most alternative systems, providing much more even heat distribution. The vinyl/fiberglass blanket fits tightly around the drum secured by adjustable double D-ring straps. A heat retaining cap, unique to the THERMAL SHIELD warmer system is then firmly secured over the top of the drum and the heat retaining blanket. Plugged into a standard 120 Vac circuit or wired for 240 Vac, the durable heaters convert electrical energy into heat at 100% efficiency.
